VAUDE offers various products that are classified as PPE according to the new PPE Regulation and the PPE Guidelines.
These include:
UV protection
VAUDE offers some clothing items with UV protection. These are T-shirts, shirts and blouses, pants and caps and hats. These products are marked with a sun symbol indicating the protection factor.
According to the new PPE Regulation and the associated PPE guidelines, a UV protective garment
is PPE according to category I.
VAUDE applies the test standard: DIN EN 13758-1:2007 Protection against natural UV radiation.

Back protection
VAUDE offers bike backpacks with integrated multi-impact protectors.
This backpack is not PPE according to the PPE Regulation, but since it is supposed to provide protection while mountain biking we have this ensured by the TÜV/GS seal for tested quality.
VAUDE applies the test standard DIN EN 1621-2:2003 motorcyclist -protective clothing against mechanical stress for this purpose.
Child carriers with frame
VAUDE has several child carriers with frame in the offer, these do not count as PPE according to the current PPE Regulation. In order to offer the greatest possible safety for the children, VAUDE has the children's carriers with frame tested by the TÜV. On the product is recognizable by the TÜV/GS seal.
VAUDE applies the test standard DIN EN 13209_1:2017 child carriers with frame.
